Lemonscope Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

The short version: Lemonscope has no account, no analytics and no tracking. Sensor data, your route, photos and reports stay on your iPhone. The only data that leaves the device is a VIN (and the make, model and year it decodes to), sent to the U.S. government's public NHTSA services to look up the vehicle, recalls and complaints.

Who we are

Lemonscope ("the app", "we") is an iOS app that helps used-car buyers screen a car during a test drive. It is an indicative screening tool, not a professional mechanical inspection.

Data the app uses
